Pour Out Your Life Upon Jesus This Easter

Pour Out Your Life Upon Jesus This Easter For us as Christians Easter and the week leading up to Easter is a time to reflect on all that Jesus has done for us. Before Easter weekend there is Mary, Lazarus’s Sister who poured out a very expensive jar of perfume on Jesus’ feet that was meant to be used for His burial. When she poured out this perfume on His feet she then took her hair and wiped the oil all over His feet. This was her way of showing how thankful, how grateful she was to Him for not only bringing her Brother back to life, (This was the reason Jesus was at their place, it was a thank you meal for giving them back their Brother), but she was also very thankful and grateful for all that He took time to teach her and His love for them. Through this very action she was pouring out her heart to Him, her life. This is an example of what we also can do, not so much pour out a bottle of expensive perfume, (But is you fe...

Two Of Paul’s Prayers That I Love To Pray

Two Of Paul’s Prayers That I Love To Pray There are 2 prayers of Paul’s that I really love to pray from Ephesians and I feel they are really important prayers for our spiritual life. One of the prayers of Paul can be found in Ephesians. Ephesians 1:17-19 17  that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him,  18  the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints,  19  and what  is  the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power I pray this prayer of Paul’s like this for myself: Abba Father, I ask that You would give me Your Spirit of wisdom and revelation so that I might know ...

Heaven is for Real, My movie review

Heaven is for Real                                      My movie review I saw this movie back when it was first released in the cinemas in 2014. I first read the book a couple of year before that and said that, “If this book was ever made into a movie I want to definitely see it.” The book has been loaned out to so many of my family and friends and now so has the video of it. Some of the family and friends that read the book just had to reread it before they would hand it back to me to hand on to the next person waiting in line to read it. The book is a true story and the movie is based on the true story. I found that there were only a couple of details left out in the movie but the rest of the movie was very much as the book was written. After reading the bo...

The Holy Spirit Teaching Us All, More On 2 Peter 1:2

The Holy Spirit Teaching Us All, More On 2 Peter 1:2 Last Monday 9/11/2020, I shared on my thought from 2 Peter 1:2. Well on Wednesday the 11/11/2020 only 2 days later, the Holy Spirit who is the best teacher in this world, taught me some more about the word “knowledge” that is found in 2 Peter 1:2, that I was sharing about. 2 Peter 1:2 “Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord.” The word for "knowledge" here in the Old Greek means epignosis, which refers to a heart experience of what and Who God is, rather than mere intellectual knowledge of facts about Him. It is a knowledge that is gained through an intimate and personal relationship with God. In other words, when you hear and hear until you know in your heart that the Lord loves you and is for you, you will experience His unmerited favor and supernatural peace in the area of your challenges. That is when you will find His strength, wisdom, and supply multiplied tangibly ...

Grace And Peace Be Yours In Abundance

Grace And Peace Be Yours In Abundance              2 Peter 1:2 NKJV 2  Grace and peace be yours in abundance  through the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord. 2 Peter 1:2 The Passion Translation 2 May grace and perfect peace cascade over you   as you live  in the rich knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord. As I have said before, sometimes the Holy Spirit leads me to read a different translation and as you can see here, by reading the Scripture in the King James Version and then reading it in The Passion Translation, really brings this living word to life. It’s like the words of a song that I love to sing to by We The Kingdom sing in the chorus: Is like sweet, sweet honey On my lips Like the sound of a symphony To my ears Like holy water on my skin (Sung by We The Kingdom)...

Taste And See That The Lord Is Good and Full Of Compassion and Comfort For Us All

Taste And See That The Lord Is Good and Full Of Compassion and Comfort For Us All I felt prompted by the Holy Spirit to share this Bible art drawing today. Not because of the Scripture that I had used for this drawing but because this drawing speaks so loudly to me today.    Because through this week with the COVID-19 Virus restrictions easing just a little more for us Melbournians we have been able to catch up with some friends and family. It is so true, that we really do not appreciate what we have until it is either gone or lost or taken from us, or that we can’t do it anymore. Only then we realize what we have really missed, who we really love, what we really love to do, and what it means to have freedom, and how important our family and friends are to us.    Two Scriptures that have been placed on my heart after reflecting on our catch ups and the mixed emotions that have come with that are:   Matthew 6:21 NIV   21  For where your treasure i...

Our Lord Never Deletes Us

Our Lord Never Deletes Us    Isaiah 49:16 ESV Behold, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands; your walls are continually before me. In the Easy to Read Version it says;  I drew a picture of you on my hands. You are always before my eyes.  In the Living Bible it says; See, I have tattooed your name upon my palm. In this world everything is so disposable. If it fails or it doesn't serve our needs anymore we just throw it out. If it’s broken we don't fix it we just replace it with a newer model. People are also disposable if they fail us or hurt us or don't agree with us or just simply no longer serve our needs we can just hit the delete button and delete them from our lives. (I know that sometimes this is not as straight forward as this and I totally understand that sometimes something just have to be deleted or thrown away).  I am so grateful that our Abba Father will never leave us or forsake us, or erase, or delete, or ...

Fear Not For I Am With You

Fear Not For I Am With You . Psalm 27:1/Psalm chapter 27, verse 1. Top of Form 27 ‘The  Lord   is  my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The  Lord   is  the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid? ’ Here in this Bible verse it is talking about fearing other people. The Lord truly knows me and knows that when He asked me to share all that He has taught me, fear set in and I have kept all of these treasures hidden in my heart for quite a few years. But not anymore, it is time to share His truths. I will not live in fear anymore. It’s not that I don’t care, it’s because I care.   Because of my fear of what might people think of me and that they might reject me for thinking so differently to them. For no one wants to know about our Father in heaven anymore because we have all been lead to believe that He is an angry God, a God of hate, judgment, condemnation, and fear. I don’t blame anyone for not wanting to know...
