Even If We Are Broken We Are Still Useful

Even If We Are Broken We Are Still Useful It always amazes me how and when and where Abba Father talks to us and what He uses to show us and guide us with. Yes again He showed up while I was in the shower, while trying to wash my hair. You see, I was having trouble trying to pour out my shampoo out of the nozzle supplied on the top of the shampoo container, which is supposed to make it easier to pour out. It was just pouring out everywhere and wasting so much of the shampoo in the process. I then had to take the nozzle of and just pour it out the old fashion way without the nozzle. The next time I got into the shower I took the nozzle of again and found that there was actually a split in the opening of the top of the container. Hence why the container wasn’t working as it should, the way that it was meant to, the way that it was designed to, it wasn’t as effective. But it still could be used.   Then Abba Father ...

He Looks After Us Even While We Are Sleeping

He Looks After Us Even While We Are Sleeping Did you know that Abba Father still sends His ministering angels down to us each night while we are sleeping and that He places His shield over us to protect us also while we are sleeping? He really cares for our every need, not just our every need for our day but also for our night time, for our rest. There are a few Scriptures in the Bible that tell us this. Genesis 28:10-15 Jacob’s Dream at Bethel 10  Jacob left Beersheba and set out for Harran.  11  When he reached a certain place, he stopped for the night because the sun had set. Taking one of the stones there, he put it under his head and lay down to sleep.  12  He had a dream in which he saw a stairway resting on the earth, with its top reaching to heaven, and the angels of God were ascending and descending on it.  13  There above it [ a ]  stood the  Lord , and he sai...

When All Our Hope And Trust Has Gone

When All Our Hope And Trust Has Gone Jeremiah 14:8a Contemporary English Version You're our only hope; you alone can save us now.  Genesis 15:4-6 4  And behold, the word of the  Lord   came  to him, saying, “This one shall not be your heir, but one who will come from your own body shall be your heir.”  5  Then He brought him outside and said, “Look now toward heaven, and count the stars if you are able to number them.” And He said to him, “So shall your descendants be.” 6  And he believed in the  Lord , and He accounted it to him for righteousness. See here in Genesis 15:4-6 God, Abba Father is promising Abraham and his wife Sarah their own baby even though Abraham was at this stage 80 years old and His wife Sarah was around 60 years old, past child bearing years. But even though Abraham laughed at this promise, he still...

The Holy Spirit Teaching Us All, More On 2 Peter 1:2

The Holy Spirit Teaching Us All, More On 2 Peter 1:2 Last Monday 9/11/2020, I shared on my thought from 2 Peter 1:2. Well on Wednesday the 11/11/2020 only 2 days later, the Holy Spirit who is the best teacher in this world, taught me some more about the word “knowledge” that is found in 2 Peter 1:2, that I was sharing about. 2 Peter 1:2 “Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord.” The word for "knowledge" here in the Old Greek means epignosis, which refers to a heart experience of what and Who God is, rather than mere intellectual knowledge of facts about Him. It is a knowledge that is gained through an intimate and personal relationship with God. In other words, when you hear and hear until you know in your heart that the Lord loves you and is for you, you will experience His unmerited favor and supernatural peace in the area of your challenges. That is when you will find His strength, wisdom, and supply multiplied tangibly ...

Taste And See That The Lord Is Good and Full Of Compassion and Comfort For Us All

Taste And See That The Lord Is Good and Full Of Compassion and Comfort For Us All I felt prompted by the Holy Spirit to share this Bible art drawing today. Not because of the Scripture that I had used for this drawing but because this drawing speaks so loudly to me today.    Because through this week with the COVID-19 Virus restrictions easing just a little more for us Melbournians we have been able to catch up with some friends and family. It is so true, that we really do not appreciate what we have until it is either gone or lost or taken from us, or that we can’t do it anymore. Only then we realize what we have really missed, who we really love, what we really love to do, and what it means to have freedom, and how important our family and friends are to us.    Two Scriptures that have been placed on my heart after reflecting on our catch ups and the mixed emotions that have come with that are:   Matthew 6:21 NIV   21  For where your treasure i...

We Have Not Suffered Alone

We Have Not Suffered Alone.   1 Peter 5:6-7, & 9 6  Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time.   7  Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. 9  Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of sufferings. I do love all that it says in 1 Peter 5:6-10 but in this situation verses 6-7 and verse 9 have helped me with my loneliness, anxiety, and deep depression. While in this time of isolation from the COVID 19 virus, I have suffered much loneliness, anxiety, and deep depression. A lot of the time just finding that I have cried a sea of tears. We have had friends die in this time and the hardest thing is not being able to v...

Our Lord Never Deletes Us

Our Lord Never Deletes Us    Isaiah 49:16 ESV Behold, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands; your walls are continually before me. In the Easy to Read Version it says;  I drew a picture of you on my hands. You are always before my eyes.  In the Living Bible it says; See, I have tattooed your name upon my palm. In this world everything is so disposable. If it fails or it doesn't serve our needs anymore we just throw it out. If it’s broken we don't fix it we just replace it with a newer model. People are also disposable if they fail us or hurt us or don't agree with us or just simply no longer serve our needs we can just hit the delete button and delete them from our lives. (I know that sometimes this is not as straight forward as this and I totally understand that sometimes something just have to be deleted or thrown away).  I am so grateful that our Abba Father will never leave us or forsake us, or erase, or delete, or ...

Fear Not For I Am With You

Fear Not For I Am With You . Psalm 27:1/Psalm chapter 27, verse 1. Top of Form 27 ‘The  Lord   is  my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The  Lord   is  the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid? ’ Here in this Bible verse it is talking about fearing other people. The Lord truly knows me and knows that when He asked me to share all that He has taught me, fear set in and I have kept all of these treasures hidden in my heart for quite a few years. But not anymore, it is time to share His truths. I will not live in fear anymore. It’s not that I don’t care, it’s because I care.   Because of my fear of what might people think of me and that they might reject me for thinking so differently to them. For no one wants to know about our Father in heaven anymore because we have all been lead to believe that He is an angry God, a God of hate, judgment, condemnation, and fear. I don’t blame anyone for not wanting to know...
