       How I Made Spanish Steps For Our Train Layout The people in Glennanburg enjoy going up and down 160 steps in this mountain, they are very fit. The steps lead up to the town wall and up again to the wine festival area, there is another set of steps leading up to the war memorial, another set leads up to the farms, and yet another set of step leading down to the underground train station.           This is a photo of the set of steps that lead up to the Aussie                farms. Our train layout is very much influenced by our trips to and wonderful memories of Europe, England and some of our favorite places in Australia. Our steps are a reminder of the Spanish Steps in Rome. Although, our steps are not as wide as theirs. Theirs have 135 steps. Our first set of steps leading up to the town wall and the wine festival have 135 steps.                 Wiring In The Town Wall Lights                          Before I could finish the plastering in front of the town wall, it was time to put my Hubby to work and do some wiring and drilling.  He does the wiring, fixing up the tracks, and all the electronics side, the decorative side is my gifts.                                       So for this we had to thread the wire very patiently down behind the fly wire mess. We did try feeding the wire through with a wire feeder, but it just couldn’t be pulled through. We had a very small limited area that we could drill a hole in, and to get thick enough gauged wire and the wires of the lights through at the same time just wouldn’t fit.
