Volendam Netherlands During our last trip around Europe we visited our Cousin and her lovely family in Amsterdam. Amsterdam is such a beautiful very colorful place. While we were there Our Cousin took us to see this very quaint little fishing village called Volendam. It was just beautiful we fell in love with it and just didn’t want to leave, but we had to because our tour guide (our Cousin had more she wanted to show us). Volendam is a Dutch town on the Markermeer Lake, northeast of Amsterdam. It’s known for its colorful wooden houses and the old fishing boats in its harbor, which is lined with seafood vendors.                    Paddington Station London We love Paddington Bear or PB as he is also known. So much so it could be said that we might have planned our trip to England to just be there for the release of Paddington 2 in the Cinema’s. But we didn’t, it was just a lovely blessing and surprise to be there when it was released. And of course when we stayed in London we had to stay in Paddington. Which is just as the movies depicts it, it’s very quaint, and not far from Oxford Street and Bond Street, the shopping district. So as soon as we got off the plane and out of customs the first thing we had to do was catch a train from Heathrow Airport to Paddington Station.
