Hopetoun Tearooms In Melbourne Is Just Devine. For many years now in the leading up to my Birthday I have always promised myself that I would go to the Hopetoun Tearooms but I never made it. Then the unimaginable happened, during Covid Lockdown last year in 2020 the Hopetoun Tearooms went into receivership, this we devastating news to me. Then I took my Daughter into Melbourne to see all the Christmas decorations and Myers window. When we go to Melbourne we always walk through a lot of the very beautiful old malls that Melbourne is famous for. And when we got to Collins Street we went to go through the Block Arcade as we always do. The Block Arcade given this name because back in the day if you were anyone you had to be seen walking the block of Collins Street, Elizabeth Street, Bourke Street, Swanston Street and then finishing back on Collins Street at the Block Arcade.
