Remember Who You Are

Remember Who You Are                                 Romans 8:14-17 English Standard Version 14  For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.   15  For you did not receive the spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption as sons, by whom we cry, “Abba! Father!”   16  The Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God,   17  and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, provided we suffer with him in order that we may also be glorified with him. Yesterday was our first time to be back at our lovely Church worshipping along with our beautiful family in Christ in nearly a year. I was really looking forward to being reunited worshipping and bein...

The Shack Movie Review

The Shack Movie Review                            The first time my Hubby and I heard this book was back about 10 years ago. We were driving to Queensland to spend time with family up there. We had purchased this book on audio so that we could listen to it on our drive. Well I can only say that this truly was an amazing listen and totally bless us in our journey. Not only in our journey of traveling up to Queensland but it also change and broadened our way of thinking so much, especially our Christian beliefs. The story was that good that when we were only 20 minutes away from our destination and still had just over ½ an hour of the story to go, we just had to pull over and listen to the end of it. So we found a safe place to pull over because it was 10 o’clock at night and it was dark, just so we could listen to the rest of the story. It really drew us in right up unti...
Happy Thanks Giving for the 26th November 2020            Firstly I like to wish everyone a Happy Thanks Giving. I thought today I would share with you all, my Bible Art Journaling that I had done back in February, this year. Who would have knew not long after I drew this, that a whole new way of living our lives through this year, was just around the corner for us all.   I drew this one because I was a feeling a little low in my life. One of the things that I find helpful, to lift me up out of the doldrums is to give thanks to our Abba Father for all things. And before I know it, I’m back to my usual chipper self. Some of the Scriptures that support this can be found in: Philippians 4:4-9 4  Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice! 5  Let your gentleness be...

The Holy Spirit Teaching Us All, More On 2 Peter 1:2

The Holy Spirit Teaching Us All, More On 2 Peter 1:2 Last Monday 9/11/2020, I shared on my thought from 2 Peter 1:2. Well on Wednesday the 11/11/2020 only 2 days later, the Holy Spirit who is the best teacher in this world, taught me some more about the word “knowledge” that is found in 2 Peter 1:2, that I was sharing about. 2 Peter 1:2 “Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord.” The word for "knowledge" here in the Old Greek means epignosis, which refers to a heart experience of what and Who God is, rather than mere intellectual knowledge of facts about Him. It is a knowledge that is gained through an intimate and personal relationship with God. In other words, when you hear and hear until you know in your heart that the Lord loves you and is for you, you will experience His unmerited favor and supernatural peace in the area of your challenges. That is when you will find His strength, wisdom, and supply multiplied tangibly ...

Grace And Peace Be Yours In Abundance

Grace And Peace Be Yours In Abundance              2 Peter 1:2 NKJV 2  Grace and peace be yours in abundance  through the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord. 2 Peter 1:2 The Passion Translation 2 May grace and perfect peace cascade over you   as you live  in the rich knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord. As I have said before, sometimes the Holy Spirit leads me to read a different translation and as you can see here, by reading the Scripture in the King James Version and then reading it in The Passion Translation, really brings this living word to life. It’s like the words of a song that I love to sing to by We The Kingdom sing in the chorus: Is like sweet, sweet honey On my lips Like the sound of a symphony To my ears Like holy water on my skin (Sung by We The Kingdom)...

Taste And See That The Lord Is Good and Full Of Compassion and Comfort For Us All

Taste And See That The Lord Is Good and Full Of Compassion and Comfort For Us All I felt prompted by the Holy Spirit to share this Bible art drawing today. Not because of the Scripture that I had used for this drawing but because this drawing speaks so loudly to me today.    Because through this week with the COVID-19 Virus restrictions easing just a little more for us Melbournians we have been able to catch up with some friends and family. It is so true, that we really do not appreciate what we have until it is either gone or lost or taken from us, or that we can’t do it anymore. Only then we realize what we have really missed, who we really love, what we really love to do, and what it means to have freedom, and how important our family and friends are to us.    Two Scriptures that have been placed on my heart after reflecting on our catch ups and the mixed emotions that have come with that are:   Matthew 6:21 NIV   21  For where your treasure i...

We Have Not Suffered Alone

We Have Not Suffered Alone.   1 Peter 5:6-7, & 9 6  Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time.   7  Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. 9  Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of sufferings. I do love all that it says in 1 Peter 5:6-10 but in this situation verses 6-7 and verse 9 have helped me with my loneliness, anxiety, and deep depression. While in this time of isolation from the COVID 19 virus, I have suffered much loneliness, anxiety, and deep depression. A lot of the time just finding that I have cried a sea of tears. We have had friends die in this time and the hardest thing is not being able to v...

Our Lord Never Deletes Us

Our Lord Never Deletes Us    Isaiah 49:16 ESV Behold, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands; your walls are continually before me. In the Easy to Read Version it says;  I drew a picture of you on my hands. You are always before my eyes.  In the Living Bible it says; See, I have tattooed your name upon my palm. In this world everything is so disposable. If it fails or it doesn't serve our needs anymore we just throw it out. If it’s broken we don't fix it we just replace it with a newer model. People are also disposable if they fail us or hurt us or don't agree with us or just simply no longer serve our needs we can just hit the delete button and delete them from our lives. (I know that sometimes this is not as straight forward as this and I totally understand that sometimes something just have to be deleted or thrown away).  I am so grateful that our Abba Father will never leave us or forsake us, or erase, or delete, or ...

Fear Not For I Am With You

Fear Not For I Am With You . Psalm 27:1/Psalm chapter 27, verse 1. Top of Form 27 ‘The  Lord   is  my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The  Lord   is  the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid? ’ Here in this Bible verse it is talking about fearing other people. The Lord truly knows me and knows that when He asked me to share all that He has taught me, fear set in and I have kept all of these treasures hidden in my heart for quite a few years. But not anymore, it is time to share His truths. I will not live in fear anymore. It’s not that I don’t care, it’s because I care.   Because of my fear of what might people think of me and that they might reject me for thinking so differently to them. For no one wants to know about our Father in heaven anymore because we have all been lead to believe that He is an angry God, a God of hate, judgment, condemnation, and fear. I don’t blame anyone for not wanting to know...
