Happy Thanks Giving for the
Firstly I
like to wish everyone a Happy Thanks Giving.
I thought
today I would share with you all, my Bible Art Journaling that I had done back
in February, this year. Who would have knew not long after I drew this, that a
whole new way of living our lives through this year, was just around the corner
for us all.
I drew this
one because I was a feeling a little low in my life. One of the things that I
find helpful, to lift me up out of the doldrums is to give thanks to our Abba
Father for all things. And before I know it, I’m back to my usual chipper self.
Some of the
Scriptures that support this can be found in:
Philippians 4:4-9
4 Rejoice
in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice!
5 Let
your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand.
6 Be
anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication,
with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7 and the
peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and
minds through Christ Jesus.
Meditate on These Things
8 Finally,
brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever
things are pure,
whatever things are lovely,
whatever things are of
good report, if there is any
virtue and if there is anything
praiseworthy—meditate on these things. 9 The things
which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the
God of peace will be with you.
Colossians 3:1 NKJV
3 Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is,
seated at the right hand of God.
Colossians 3:17 NKJV
17 And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving
thanks to God the Father through Him.
Proverbs 12:25 NKJV
25 Anxiety in the heart of man causes depression,
But a good word makes it glad.
And now
that we have come through this year having gone through the isolation and still
going through it, I am even more grateful, for these things that I wrote about and
more in my Bible Art Journaling. Especially after not being able to see our
family and friends and not being able to go to Church and worship with our
fellow Brothers and Sisters in Christ.
I also
love to sing songs that lift me up, (Lol not that I have a good singing voice,
but I still don’t let that stop me). One of the songs that I love to sing is
from the movie “Mary Poppins”, “These are a few of my favorite things”.
Today I
give thanks to our Abba Father for being our always there for us and being our
shield and covering us under His wings in His temple and protecting us all from
this virus.
I praise
and thank You Abba Father for my Husband, all our Children, their partners, our
Grandchildren, my parents and all our extended family and friends.
I praise and
thank You Abba Father that You have this whole world in Your loving hands.
I praise and
thank You Abba Father that one day soon we will all be able to travel again and
continue to see Your marvelous creation and visit once more all our family and
friends overseas and in other parts of Australia.
I praise and
thank You Abba Father for the beautiful things in this world that You have
created for us; like Your beautiful sunrises and sunsets, Your beautiful
flowers, the 4 season of Autumn, Winter, Spring and Summer, for our retro pastel
house, the laughter of our Children, and especially for the loving hugs from
our family and friends.
I praise and
thank You, that You are our Shalom peace and that we do not have to live in
fear when we are in Your love.
In Jesus
name I pray these prayers, Hallelujah and Amen.
