What Type Of Ship Are You?

What Type Of Ship Are You? Are you a beautifully designed ship with lots of elegance with new horizons ahead of you, new plans, new dreams, or a new life ahead of you, but never actually meeting your full potential? I really do understand this and have been this ship myself. Are you just to broken to be any use to anyone and just feel like you are sinking? I have really do understand this and have been this ship myself. Are you more like a ship wreck on the bottom of the sea bed never seeing the light of day and rusting away but still full of lots of treasures to give but don't know of anyway to get back up? I really do understand this and have been this ship myself. Are you still in the planning stage of your life and still trying to find ways to reach your dreams, your goals? I really do underst...

Taste And See That The Lord Is Good and Full Of Compassion and Comfort For Us All

Taste And See That The Lord Is Good and Full Of Compassion and Comfort For Us All I felt prompted by the Holy Spirit to share this Bible art drawing today. Not because of the Scripture that I had used for this drawing but because this drawing speaks so loudly to me today.    Because through this week with the COVID-19 Virus restrictions easing just a little more for us Melbournians we have been able to catch up with some friends and family. It is so true, that we really do not appreciate what we have until it is either gone or lost or taken from us, or that we can’t do it anymore. Only then we realize what we have really missed, who we really love, what we really love to do, and what it means to have freedom, and how important our family and friends are to us.    Two Scriptures that have been placed on my heart after reflecting on our catch ups and the mixed emotions that have come with that are:   Matthew 6:21 NIV   21  For where your treasure i...

We Have Not Suffered Alone

We Have Not Suffered Alone.   1 Peter 5:6-7, & 9 6  Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time.   7  Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. 9  Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of sufferings. I do love all that it says in 1 Peter 5:6-10 but in this situation verses 6-7 and verse 9 have helped me with my loneliness, anxiety, and deep depression. While in this time of isolation from the COVID 19 virus, I have suffered much loneliness, anxiety, and deep depression. A lot of the time just finding that I have cried a sea of tears. We have had friends die in this time and the hardest thing is not being able to v...

Our Lord Never Deletes Us

Our Lord Never Deletes Us    Isaiah 49:16 ESV Behold, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands; your walls are continually before me. In the Easy to Read Version it says;  I drew a picture of you on my hands. You are always before my eyes.  In the Living Bible it says; See, I have tattooed your name upon my palm. In this world everything is so disposable. If it fails or it doesn't serve our needs anymore we just throw it out. If it’s broken we don't fix it we just replace it with a newer model. People are also disposable if they fail us or hurt us or don't agree with us or just simply no longer serve our needs we can just hit the delete button and delete them from our lives. (I know that sometimes this is not as straight forward as this and I totally understand that sometimes something just have to be deleted or thrown away).  I am so grateful that our Abba Father will never leave us or forsake us, or erase, or delete, or ...
