Our Lord Never Deletes Us

Our Lord Never Deletes Us

 Isaiah 49:16 ESV

Behold, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands; your walls are continually before me.

In the Easy to Read Version it says; I drew a picture of you on my hands. You are always before my eyes.

In the Living Bible it says; See, I have tattooed your name upon my palm.

In this world everything is so disposable. If it fails or it doesn't serve our needs anymore we just throw it out. If it’s broken we don't fix it we just replace it with a newer model. People are also disposable if they fail us or hurt us or don't agree with us or just simply no longer serve our needs we can just hit the delete button and delete them from our lives. (I know that sometimes this is not as straight forward as this and I totally understand that sometimes something just have to be deleted or thrown away).

I am so grateful that our Abba Father will never leave us or forsake us, or erase, or delete, or throw out in the rubbish, or reject us, not matter what we do, He will always love us and stand beside us. After all this is the very reason He sent His one and only Son to us to save us and show us the Fathers love for us. He has us in His nail pierced hands, forever engraved/tattooed on the palms of His hands and by this He will always see us. And notice it says "Hands" plural; we are engraved/tattooed on both His hands. Some version say our name is written on His hands but in some versions it talks about a picture or drawing of us that He has drawn on His hands. Like in the Easy to Read Version it says that He drew a picture of us on His hands. So He literally see’s us and is reminded that we are His beloved with whom He is well pleased. We are His precious Children forever and cannot to snatched out of His hands at all.

I think that it’s a bit like a Parents brag book of their Children, (lol showing my age), in these days it’s all our photos on our phone or social media that we have great pride and joy in sharing with everyone. Also these days a lot of parents have their Children's name tattooed on one part of their body. Unlike our Heavenly Father who has us tattooed on both of His hands. And I think this is no different to our Heavenly Father. When He looks at our picture or our name tattooed on His palm of His hands that He is proud of us and His love just shines over us. Oh the Father's love for us is so much more than we could ever imagine.

I pray that no matter what you are going through this week for you; that you will always know that you are forever engraved in our Fathers hands and that you are truly loved by Him. And that He see's you. He knows all that you are going through and that He will never leave you or forsake you, for you are His precious Child with whom He loves forever. In Jesus name I pray Hallelujah and Amen.

(The Bible Art painting is one I have done and took from an idea I saw on Pinterest. Unfortunately I cannot find the artist to give to gratitude to).

Who Remembers The Mr Whippy Van

Who Remembers The Mr. Whippy Van Who remembers the Mr. Whippy van driving around the neighborhood of Melbourne, Victoria? I do, it was one of my precious memories of growing up. He would play his music on his loud speaker so that everyone no matter where you were could hear that Mr. Whippy was coming. We would all run out of the house so watch him coming especially on those really hot afternoons. While you would wait you could see all the other children and parents running out to their nature strips to purchase one of his yummy soft serve ice creams. Sometimes my parents would buy us all one and sometimes they wouldn’t. Now as a grownup I realize that they couldn’t always afford to buy us all one. But that still didn’t stop us from running out to watch Mr. Whippy do his thing. Mr. Whippy looked the splitting image of Elvis Presley. We used to think he had left his job and come to serve us ice cream and sing to us in Tottenham. Because we didn’t r
