Two Of Paul’s Prayers That I Love To Pray
There are 2
prayers of Paul’s that I really love to pray from Ephesians and I feel they are
really important prayers for our spiritual life.
One of the
prayers of Paul can be found in Ephesians.
Ephesians 1:17-19
17 that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, 18 the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, 19 and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power
I pray this prayer of Paul’s like
this for myself:
Abba Father,
I ask that You would give me Your Spirit of wisdom and revelation so that I
might know You better. I also ask that the eyes of my heart may be enlightened
in order that I may know the hope to which You have called me, the riches of
Your glorious inheritance in the saints, and Your incomparably great power for
us who believe. In Jesus name I pray this pray, Hallelujah and Amen.
Another prayer of Paul’s that I pray
can be found in:
Ephesians
3:14-21 NKJV
14 For this reason I kneel before the Father, 15 from whom every family in heaven and
on earth derives its name. 16 I
pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with
power through his Spirit in your inner being, 17 so that Christ may dwell in your
hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and
established in love, 18 may
have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide
and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, 19 and to know this love that surpasses
knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of
God.
20 Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we
ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, 21 to him be glory in the church and in
Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever! Amen.
I pray this prayer of Paul’s like this:
