Pour Out Your Life Upon Jesus This Easter For us as Christians Easter and the week leading up to Easter is a time to reflect on all that Jesus has done for us. Before Easter weekend there is Mary, Lazarus’s Sister who poured out a very expensive jar of perfume on Jesus’ feet that was meant to be used for His burial. When she poured out this perfume on His feet she then took her hair and wiped the oil all over His feet. This was her way of showing how thankful, how grateful she was to Him for not only bringing her Brother back to life, (This was the reason Jesus was at their place, it was a thank you meal for giving them back their Brother), but she was also very thankful and grateful for all that He took time to teach her and His love for them. Through this very action she was pouring out her heart to Him, her life.                       Our 40 th Wedding Anniversary Celebrations We just wanted to share this very special occasion with all our friends and family but unfortunately we still have some restrictions in how many can gather in ones household. We were limited because of our small patio on how many we could invite and so we had to narrow it down. As you can see by the photos we did end up having a wonderful afternoon, with so many laughs and catch ups with friends we haven’t been able to see in a while. We truly had a blessed day. We Do Not Have To Live In Shame  The other day while I was spring cleaning after my shower I decided to take down the shower curtain and when I did I felt exposed of not just my nakedness, but all of me. And I was the only one in the house. No reason for feeling vulnerable or ashamed. Also when the shower curtain came down more light came into the shower and the light revealed more areas that still needed to be cleaned. Just like with Christ when He shines His light into our hearts and reveals a part of us that needs to be healed. This reminded me of the veil that Jesus tore down to free us. But then I was also reminded of Adam and Eve. When Adam and Eve sinned they covered themselves up realizing their all was fully bared to God and the world. Not just their naked body but their all, their new emotions that they were now experiencing, they were ashamed of who they had become because of what they had done.           He Looks After Us Even While We Are Sleeping Did you know that Abba Father still sends His ministering angels down to us each night while we are sleeping and that He places His shield over us to protect us also while we are sleeping? He really cares for our every need, not just our every need for our day but also for our night time, for our rest. There are a few Scriptures in the Bible that tell us this.                                                     Volendam Netherlands During our last trip around Europe we visited our Cousin and her lovely family in Amsterdam. Amsterdam is such a beautiful very colorful place. While we were there Our Cousin took us to see this very quaint little fishing village called Volendam. It was just beautiful we fell in love with it and just didn’t want to leave, but we had to because our tour guide (our Cousin had more she wanted to show us). Volendam is a Dutch town on the Markermeer Lake, northeast of Amsterdam. It’s known for its colorful wooden houses and the old fishing boats in its harbor, which is lined with seafood vendors. The Volendam Museum features paintings, sculptures and pottery from 1800 to the present, a gallery of traditional costumes and mosaics made from millions of cigar bands.      Praying Psalm 91 As A Prayer Psalm 91 is my go to prayer it is so full of so many of Abba Father’s promises for us, and it is known as the prayer of protection given to us through His Holy Spirit.   Just remember when you are praying this prayer of protection it was written in the Old Testament and we do not live under the law of the Old Testament but though the law of grace which is of the New Testament which Jesus came to give us in abundance.   You will find below that I have written Psalm 91 one as it is written in the Bible and then I have wrote it in a prayer form, to help make it easier for you.   This prayer can be like an emergency prayer to Abba Father, like a 000/911 call to Abba Father. You can call out or cry out to Abba Father quoting one verse in an emergency or you can prayer it in its full entirety.
