  We Do Not Live Under The Law Of The Old Testament Anymore. We do not live under the Laws of the Old Testament any longer. Because Jesus came to set us free from the old ways. So that we can live under His law of the New Testament, the law of grace, love, peace and mercy. Not of the Law of the Old Testament of judgment, fear, shame, condemnation, hate, and anger. If you believe or even think that you are meant to still follow the old ways or are lead to believe that you do still have to fear God, and that your sins are that bad that you can’t be forgiven, then this is a lie from the enemy. For when Jesus hang on the cross for us, He took all our sins, our shame, our fear, our condemnation, our pain, our sicknesses and our diseases, all on Himself for us to not have to bear anymore, once and for all. Hallelujah! He came to free us from all of these things. Unfortunately a lot of old Churches have taught their flock of fear, condemnation and judgment, for different reason. The disci

How I Made Spanish Steps For Our Train Layout

       How I Made Spanish Steps For Our Train Layout The people in Glennanburg enjoy going up and down 160 steps in this mountain, they are very fit. The steps lead up to the town wall and up again to the wine festival area, there is another set of steps leading up to the war memorial, another set leads up to the farms, and yet another set of step leading down to the underground train station.           This is a photo of the set of steps that lead up to the Aussie                farms. Our train layout is very much influenced by our trips to and wonderful memories of Europe, England and some of our favorite places in Australia. Our steps are a reminder of the Spanish Steps in Rome. Although, our steps are not as wide as theirs. Theirs have 135 steps. Our first set of steps leading up to the town wall and the wine festival have 135 steps. For creating our steps I used some 3mm foam board. It has card board on both the top and the bottom of the foam. I used this because I wanted a s

1960’s Hankie Box Made from Cards

            1960’s Hankie Box Made from Cards I grew up in the Sixties, hence where some of my influence and ideas come from for our lovely retro, pastel, shabby chic style home. I remember that some lovely little old ladies, friends of my Mothers, made my Sister, and I, a lovely hankie box each. I always thought mine was the prettiest. Lol. They sat on our dressing table, my Sister’s on her side on the dressing table and mine on my side. (It was more like a shorter tall boy, than a dressing table, but I loved it. It was painted white with turquoise doors to match our bed heads). I don’t remember what colour our hankie boxes where or the detail on them but I do remember a special feeling when I would look at its pretty pictures on it, and that it had just as pretty pictures on the inside. It always intrigued me as to how they got the picture on both sides and behind a protective coating. I also loved the way that the picture had been joined together. Now I know that they were held to
                                          Happy Thanks Giving for the 26th November 2020            Firstly I like to wish everyone a Happy Thanks Giving. I thought today I would share with you all, my Bible Art Journaling that I had done back in February, this year. Who would have knew not long after I drew this, that a whole new way of living our lives through this year, was just around the corner for us all.   I drew this one because I was a feeling a little low in my life. One of the things that I find helpful, to lift me up out of the doldrums is to give thanks to our Abba Father for all things. And before I know it, I’m back to my usual chipper self. Some of the Scriptures that support this can be found in: Philippians 4:4-9 4  Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice! 5  Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord  is  at hand. 6  Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;
                Wiring In The Town Wall Lights                          Before I could finish the plastering in front of the town wall, it was time to put my Hubby to work and do some wiring and drilling.  He does the wiring, fixing up the tracks, and all the electronics side, the decorative side is my gifts.                                       So for this we had to thread the wire very patiently down behind the fly wire mess. We did try feeding the wire through with a wire feeder, but it just couldn’t be pulled through. We had a very small limited area that we could drill a hole in, and to get thick enough gauged wire and the wires of the lights through at the same time just wouldn’t fit. We also needed the wire to go over on an angle towards the hole, and this required a thicker wire feeder to keep up the strength to feed the wires on an angle. We had to feed it through the hole at the base that the town wall is sitting on and then over on a angle towards the hole in the table

My Knitted Pastel Blue Sailor Jumper

                                     Well Hello Sailor      My Knitted Pastel Blue Sailor Jumper This knitting pattern was taken from this 1970’s short sleeve top pattern. It had no stripes on it, and so I added the stripes. I also knitted the sleeves longer, and added length to the body as well. I used a 4ply Paton’s baby wool with knitting 2 strands of wool together to give me the thickness I required, and because I used the 2 strands of wool I knitted the jumper using the smallest size pattern. I have looked all over my house trying to find this pattern book but I must have put it in a very safe place because I know there is another pattern in the book that I want to knit.   I buy most of my patterns from the good old opportunity shops/thrift shops or I try and find somethings on Ravelry or on line. There are so many free patterns out there on line. I even buy some on EBay or Etsy. I also save a lot of pattern ideas on favorite Pinterest site. Just gotta love Pinterest it’s so h

The Holy Spirit Teaching Us All, More On 2 Peter 1:2

  The Holy Spirit Teaching Us All, More On 2 Peter 1:2 Last Monday 9/11/2020, I shared on my thought from 2 Peter 1:2. Well on Wednesday the 11/11/2020 only 2 days later, the Holy Spirit who is the best teacher in this world, taught me some more about the word “knowledge” that is found in 2 Peter 1:2, that I was sharing about. 2 Peter 1:2 “Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord.” The word for "knowledge" here in the Old Greek means epignosis, which refers to a heart experience of what and Who God is, rather than mere intellectual knowledge of facts about Him. It is a knowledge that is gained through an intimate and personal relationship with God. In other words, when you hear and hear until you know in your heart that the Lord loves you and is for you, you will experience His unmerited favor and supernatural peace in the area of your challenges. That is when you will find His strength, wisdom, and supply multiplied tangibly
                                                                           Painting The Train Layout                                                Last week I shared with you which method I used to build our train layout mountain. This week I am sharing my next step and that is how I painted our mountain. First you have to consider what colour tones and what style of rocks you are wanting to achieve. Like I said last week I was wanting a couple of different styles based on an area not far from us around Tooborac. But there are also different colour’s of slate rocks or even the sand stone look. A lot of the rock faces that I have seen most people in America go for are in a fawn type colour and sand stone look.  Now was time to start putting on the first stroke of paint, the first coat of paint. I covered the whole mountain in a dark grey by mixing black and white together. And I used a disposable plastic container to mix this in. I ended up with 2 of these tubs full of paint. Mainly
                               Gluten-Free Lemonade Scones In the photo above the scones in the front are the gluten-free scones and the scones in back ground are made with wheat flour. They even turn out better that the wheat flour scones. And yes I left the wheat scones in the oven for to long. Whoops. lol.  For this recipe I find that the secret to  success  is in the brand of gluten-free flour that you choose.  I choose to use a gluten-free   flour called "Well & Good." I have tried so many other gluten-free brands of gluten-free flours and  I just find that this brand really works so much better for scones, whether they are lemonade scones or the traditional scones. I do use a couple of other brands of gluten-free flours for other recipes. In the photo above is a photo of the Well & Good flour. This flour is also an Australian owned company and an Australian made flour.   Ingredients: 3 cups S.R. Flour (sifted),  1 cup cream (I use lactose free cream) 1 cup of l

Grace And Peace Be Yours In Abundance

                             Grace And Peace Be Yours In Abundance              2 Peter 1:2 NKJV 2  Grace and peace be yours in abundance  through the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord. 2 Peter 1:2 The Passion Translation 2 May grace and perfect peace cascade over you   as you live  in the rich knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord. As I have said before, sometimes the Holy Spirit leads me to read a different translation and as you can see here, by reading the Scripture in the King James Version and then reading it in The Passion Translation, really brings this living word to life. It’s like the words of a song that I love to sing to by We The Kingdom sing in the chorus: Is like sweet, sweet honey On my lips Like the sound of a symphony To my ears Like holy water on my skin (Sung by We The Kingdom). And yes in my experience as this Scripture says; grace and peace are ours in abundance. But, as the rest of this Scripture finishes of by saying; through the kn
