My Knitted Pastel Blue Sailor Jumper

                            Well Hello Sailor

My Knitted Pastel Blue Sailor Jumper

This knitting pattern was taken from this 1970’s short sleeve top pattern. It had no stripes on it, and so I added the stripes. I also knitted the sleeves longer, and added length to the body as well. I used a 4ply Paton’s baby wool with knitting 2 strands of wool together to give me the thickness I required, and because I used the 2 strands of wool I knitted the jumper using the smallest size pattern.

I have looked all over my house trying to find this pattern book but I must have put it in a very safe place because I know there is another pattern in the book that I want to knit.

I buy most of my patterns from the good old opportunity shops/thrift shops or I try and find somethings on Ravelry or on line. There are so many free patterns out there on line. I even buy some on EBay or Etsy. I also save a lot of pattern ideas on favorite Pinterest site. Just gotta love Pinterest it’s so helpful for ideas. There are so many ideas out there to help you.

I pray that you have a very blessed week full of love and abundance of grace, and a very creative week.

Sometimes my parents would buy us all one and sometimes they wouldn’t. Now as a grownup I realize that they couldn’t always afford to buy us all one. But that still didn’t stop us from running out to watch Mr. Whippy do his thing. Mr. Whippy looked the splitting image of Elvis Presley. We used to think he had left his job and come to serve us ice cream and sing to us in Tottenham. Because we didn’t r
