The Fun Has Started Our First Water Tank

The Fun Has Started Our First Water Tank   After  my Hubby and our Daughter playing around most of Saturday afternoon setting up the printer and the computer and getting the right programs, we were ready by 6 o'clock on Saturday night to start a test run by printing out our much needed water tanks. Because everything was on hold in the farm lands waiting for the arrival of their water tanks. After all the crops and veggies and animals needed their water not to mention the loo and showers, lol, To our surprise they only took 39 minutes each. We ended up printing out 4 of them, but I'm thinking of making another one or two. One for our famous Aussie wood shed. Because you always need somewhere to keep your firewood dry and the other one for a chicken coop. I will just have to see how I'm going for space with the chicken coop. They may just left to forage around the yard, sorry, lol. I do have one tip for you. After our first print the models all started sticking to the plate.

What Would A Pastel Lady Do With A Hole In The Wall?

What Would A Pastel Lady Do With A Hole In The Wall?                                                   Welcome to our very unique but whimsical pastel kitchen.  We had a hole in our kitchen wall where we had our old air conditioner. My Hubby asked me "so what are we going to do with the hole in the wall." He was expecting me to say that I just want it to be plastered up. But I had already had some ideas on what to do with the hole in our wall. He knew it wouldn't be that simple He knows me better that, lol. And so the planning began, the research on Pinterest and the internet and this is the idea I came up with. A shadow box with a set of shelves to hold more pastel pretties for our pastel kitchen. Of course the fronts of the shelves had to have my favorite scallop pattern and bows on the front, just to make it fit in with all the rest of our pastel kitchen. As always I get the ideas and draw them up and my precious, lo

We Have Not Suffered Alone

We Have Not Suffered Alone.   1 Peter 5:6-7, & 9 6  Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time.   7  Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. 9  Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of sufferings. I do love all that it says in 1 Peter 5:6-10 but in this situation verses 6-7 and verse 9 have helped me with my loneliness, anxiety, and deep depression. While in this time of isolation from the COVID 19 virus, I have suffered much loneliness, anxiety, and deep depression. A lot of the time just finding that I have cried a sea of tears. We have had friends die in this time and the hardest thing is not being able to visit them or show our love to them and be there for them. Not even a funeral to go to say our goodbye’s. We have also had some health issues in the family and not b

A Whole New World With The 3D Laser Printer

It's A Whole New World Our 3D Laser Printer has arrived  Well during this week my Hubby and I received our new Flashforge, Dreamer, 3D Laser Printer. Now all the printing fun to begin.  Why a 3D Laser Printer you ask? Well during this time of the COVID-19 virus we have found it hard to find the things that I have needed for our HO Scale train layout/diorama and if we have found them we have had to wait weeks for them to come. Also back in 2004 when I first starting making the train layout/diorama I got a train station sign made. It was laser printed and the company doesn't exist anymore and I haven't been able to find anyone else who does them. In my research for another sign like the one we already have I found that 3D laser printing has now been made more portable for us to have in our own homes. Unlike the ones that where just made for the size of a factory. So yes I'm catching from behind the times and stepping into a whole new world of 3D laser printing. Oh the pos

Card making in Lockdown

Card making in Lockdown  While in lockdown because of the Covid 19 virus I found it really hard to find decent cards. So I decided it was time to make some cards. I made this one for my Mother for Mothers Day.  I used quite a bit of my pastel card stock for this project but did also use up some of my scrap paper, because you always hold onto you scraps lol.  For the flower box pattern I used my Friskar's straight edge hole punch.  And for the shadowed effect on the edge of the bricks, and some of the tulips and the edges of the window I used some brown craft chalk and dusted it of the a small soft brush.  For the blind in the window I used my Creative Memories Alpine decorative scissors to get this pretty pattern. For the embossing on the pelmet at the top of the window I really had to improvise with this part because I found that I didn't really have many tools for embossing. (Something I still need to invest in, lol, because a crafter, just like a tool man can never have en

Our Lord Never Deletes Us

Our Lord Never Deletes Us    Isaiah 49:16 ESV Behold, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands; your walls are continually before me. In the Easy to Read Version it says;  I drew a picture of you on my hands. You are always before my eyes.  In the Living Bible it says; See, I have tattooed your name upon my palm. In this world everything is so disposable. If it fails or it doesn't serve our needs anymore we just throw it out. If it’s broken we don't fix it we just replace it with a newer model. People are also disposable if they fail us or hurt us or don't agree with us or just simply no longer serve our needs we can just hit the delete button and delete them from our lives. (I know that sometimes this is not as straight forward as this and I totally understand that sometimes something just have to be deleted or thrown away).  I am so grateful that our Abba Father will never leave us or forsake us, or erase, or delete, or throw out in the rubbish, or rej

My Version of Gluten-free Lasagna

My Version of Gluten-free Lasagna Ingredients: 1 packet Gluten-free Lasagna sheets, (depending on how much you need to make you might need more packets. This recipe will make approximately 4 servings depending on your serving sizes), 6 or 8 Chicken Tenderloins, (although you can use any type of chicken or mince), 6 or 8 Bacon, (Optional, and I use short bacon but you could use already diced bacon or if you prefer the vegan bacon then use that), 4 Tomatoes, diced, (I have to cut out the seeds. If you are able to have canned tomatoes or you can use any type of tomato based sauce then use this instead, I am not able to have a lot of fructose so I improvise). 2 Zucchini, diced, (roast it for this recipe and sometimes I fry it up with the mushrooms, tomatoes, and basil). 10 medium to large sized Mushrooms, sliced, (I use whatever mushrooms I can get at the time). ½ a Roasted Pumpkin, sliced, 2 large Roasted Sweet Potatoes, sliced, 1 full Corn, (I use cut my corn fres

Fear Not For I Am With You

Fear Not For I Am With You . Psalm 27:1/Psalm chapter 27, verse 1. Top of Form 27 ‘The  Lord   is  my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The  Lord   is  the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid? ’ Here in this Bible verse it is talking about fearing other people. The Lord truly knows me and knows that when He asked me to share all that He has taught me, fear set in and I have kept all of these treasures hidden in my heart for quite a few years. But not anymore, it is time to share His truths. I will not live in fear anymore. It’s not that I don’t care, it’s because I care.   Because of my fear of what might people think of me and that they might reject me for thinking so differently to them. For no one wants to know about our Father in heaven anymore because we have all been lead to believe that He is an angry God, a God of hate, judgment, condemnation, and fear. I don’t blame anyone for not wanting to know this type of God but these, as I have found
