A Whole New World With The 3D Laser Printer

It's A Whole New World

Our 3D Laser Printer has arrived

Well during this week my Hubby and I received our new Flashforge, Dreamer, 3D Laser Printer. Now all the printing fun to begin.

Why a 3D Laser Printer you ask? Well during this time of the COVID-19 virus we have found it hard to find the things that I have needed for our HO Scale train layout/diorama and if we have found them we have had to wait weeks for them to come. Also back in 2004 when I first starting making the train layout/diorama I got a train station sign made. It was laser printed and the company doesn't exist anymore and I haven't been able to find anyone else who does them. In my research for another sign like the one we already have I found that 3D laser printing has now been made more portable for us to have in our own homes. Unlike the ones that where just made for the size of a factory. So yes I'm catching from behind the times and stepping into a whole new world of 3D laser printing. Oh the possibilities. My first print will be some Ho Scale water tanks.

Just click play see my video below to watch the unpacking of our new baby.

I do, it was one of my precious memories of growing up. He would play his music on his loud speaker so that everyone no matter where you were could hear that Mr. Whippy was coming. We would all run out of the house so watch him coming especially on those really hot afternoons. While you would wait you could see all the other children and parents running out to their nature strips to purchase one of his yummy soft serve ice creams. Sometimes my parents would buy us all one and sometimes they wouldn’t. Now as a grownup I realize that they couldn’t always afford to buy us all one. But that still didn’t stop us from running out to watch Mr. Whippy do his thing. Mr. Whippy looked the splitting image of Elvis Presley. We used to think he had left his job and come to serve us ice cream and sing to us in Tottenham. Because we didn’t r
