I Really Love These Magnet Tins They’re So Handy

I Really Love These Magnet Tins

I have over time collected a few of these little magnetic tins for my craft trolley for quick access to some my craft items. But until yesterday I didn’t realize that they are also a very handy pin tin.

I was busy pinning up a project that I am busy doing at the moment and I was struggling to get these little pins out of there little tiny container they came in. I didn’t want to take all my pins of my old but very strong pin dish (As shown down on the second lost photo of this blog). So I would put them into one of my empty magnetic pin tins. Well I was struggling even more to get them out of the depths of the tin. Then I tipped them into the lid and this made it easier.

But ROFL! I saw the magnet on the bottom of the tin and thought “Oh my goodness I have had these all this time and I didn’t realize that if I tipped the metal objects into the lid and then turn the tin upside down and place the lid on top of the bottom of the tin where the magnets is I know have another very useful magnetic pin dish. But I definitely am not going to replace my magnetic dish for these magnetic pin tins as the magnet in the dish is for stronger than the magnets on the tin. But it is very strong.

I also love that they come in my pastel colours and that they match the colours of my craft room. I also love that they are not very expensive.

Some of the other uses I have found for them are for:

- Safety pins

- My patchwork pins

- Buttons

- Beads

- Embellishments for when I am making a card

- Die cuts from my Sizzex machine when I am also making a card

- Miniature Projects

- On my fridge

And the list goes on; the possibilities are only limited by our imaginations.

I hope you have found this helpful and had a good laugh at my lack of insight lol if you have any other uses for them please let me know by leaving your suggestions in the comments below. I thank you so much for your continued support I really do appreciate it.

I hope you have a truly blessed day and a wonderful weekend.

Who Remembers The Mr. Whippy Van Who remembers the Mr. Whippy van driving around the neighborhood of Melbourne, Victoria? I do, it was one of my precious memories of growing up. He would play his music on his loud speaker so that everyone no matter where you were could hear that Mr. Whippy was coming. We would all run out of the house so watch him coming especially on those really hot afternoons. While you would wait you could see all the other children and parents running out to their nature strips to purchase one of his yummy soft serve ice creams. Sometimes my parents would buy us all one and sometimes they wouldn’t. Now as a grownup I realize that they couldn’t always afford to buy us all one. But that still didn’t stop us from running out to watch Mr. Whippy do his thing. Mr. Whippy looked the splitting image of Elvis Presley. We used to think he had left his job and come to serve us ice cream and sing to us in Tottenham. Because we didn’t r
