                                 Dew Drops And Rain Drops.

I love looking at the dew on the flowers in the morning and I also love watching the small rain drops falling onto the flowers pooling together and when the pool of rain drops gets to big it overflows down onto another flower, joining yet another pool of rain drops.

This reminds me of how when we work together in the body of Christ, our Christian family. We come together either at Church on a Sunday. When we sit down and listen to the teaching we are being filled by the Holy Spirit, these words, and even the worship that we come together for nourishes us and when we come away we have been made stronger and filled with all that we need to go out and help others and encourage and strengthen other.

Just like the rain drop coming together with the other rain drops, they come away from that pool of rain drops bigger than before, stronger that before, and the more they join with the other rain drops the bigger and stronger they are.

But if you watch the lonely ones that on their own journey down the petals of the bush never joining up with any of the other rain drops they just peter out and disappear not ever getting to their destination not ever gaining any strength, not ever amounting to any influence in any way.

We were created to be together not as one person. Just like when God created Adam, Adam was lonely so God made Eve for him to not be lonely. We are just the same today we need other people around us. Yes we can be self sufficient not ever depending on any one else but deep down its hard.

When we catch up with a group of Christian friends meeting together for a cuppa or even with just one Christian friend and share with each other our struggles, our joys, our paths that we are travel on, we always come away strengthened, inspired, encouraged. We have strength the go on, to take the next step, or even look at the situation from a different prospective.

But I would advise you to make sure that you surround yourself with likeminded, grace filled, Christians, if you are after support in this way. As some people you have in your life can be really wonderful loving friends but are either to negative or can guide you down the wrong path, that is not for you to go down.

It is the same with choosing a Church I would recommend that you find yourself and grace filled, Bible centered Church that will nourish you correctly in the way the Christ teaches us, and not the way the old style Churches want us to go. This way then you will be coming together and being made strong and healthy based on Christ’s finished works and not just from the strength of man/woman.

Here are some Scriptures that might help you:

Proverbs 27:17 ESV

Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another.

Hebrews 10:24-25 ESV

24 And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, 25 not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.

Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 ESV

Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil. 10 For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up! 11 Again, if two lie together, they keep warm, but how can one keep warm alone? 12 And though a man might prevail against one who is alone, two will withstand him—a threefold cord is not quickly broken.

Genesis 2:18 ESV

Then the Lord God said, “It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper fit for him.”

1 Thessalonians 5:11 ESV

Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing.

Acts 15:32 ESV

And Judas and Silas, who were themselves prophets, encouraged and strengthened the brothers with many words.

Romans 15:2 ESV

So that by God's will I may come to you with joy and be refreshed in your company.

Romans 1:11-12 ESV

11 For I long to see you, that I may impart to you some spiritual gift to strengthen you— 12 that is, that we may be mutually encouraged by each other's faith, both yours and mine.

Please do not take this in the wrong way and take offence, because all our family and friends around us are so precious to us but if you want advice on what type of puppy you would want you would go to a breeder who knows all about that breed of puppy. If you have a electrical problem you would get in an Electrician for the right type of advice and the same for if you were having trouble with you car you would take it to a reputable mechanic and get the right direction on what is wrong with it and how to fix it. The same is you have a partner who is a policeman and you were finding it difficult on how to handle the situations that rise up with when they come home from work, you would find the support and advice from a fellow Policemen's partner, it's called finding the right help with the people that can help you the most that are knowledgeable in the right subject.

I pray that Jesus would strength you, guide you, and place His loving family around you today. An that you would be come to know Jesus personally as He lives in you and you live in Him. May He give you His Spirit of wisdom and revelation today. In Jesus name I pray. Hallelujah and Amen.

Who Remembers The Mr Whippy Van

Who Remembers The Mr. Whippy Van Who remembers the Mr. Whippy van driving around the neighborhood of Melbourne, Victoria? I do, it was one of my precious memories of growing up. He would play his music on his loud speaker so that everyone no matter where you were could hear that Mr. Whippy was coming. We would all run out of the house so watch him coming especially on those really hot afternoons. While you would wait you could see all the other children and parents running out to their nature strips to purchase one of his yummy soft serve ice creams. Sometimes my parents would buy us all one and sometimes they wouldn’t. Now as a grownup I realize that they couldn’t always afford to buy us all one. But that still didn’t stop us from running out to watch Mr. Whippy do his thing. Mr. Whippy looked the splitting image of Elvis Presley. We used to think he had left his job and come to serve us ice cream and sing to us in Tottenham. Because we didn’t r
